Family shots

We've had many family gatherings during the year for a variety of occasions -- always a great photo opportunity.

Cayo Levantado

For the second year in a row, we took a spring vacation in the Dominican Republic. Here are some of the highlights of our trip. Of course we have lots more pictures from the Cayo Levantado trip if you are interested.

Sonia and Michael also spent a week in Orlando. This was a trip that we planned in the spring. As it turned out, it provided a bit a recuperation after the hectic weeks around Dad's passing. This was not our first visit to Orlando, so we didn't feel pressured to do the big tourist attractions, mostly relaxing instead. We also have many more pictures for out Orlando trip.

Cooking is something both Sonia and Michael enjoy. Here are some food related pictures. Based on Catherine's request, Michael put together a separate 'how to' page for his 34 easy steps nachos.

Guiseppe Lamberti lived a full, long life -- 96 years. He died in his home, on the morning of October 15th, 2013. His health gradually declined over the last few months, but he was happy be to able to stay in his own house rather than go to a nursing home.

Random home shots & photography

Michael did not have time for many 'home' projects this year, but he did find many opportunities to pursue his interest in photography.

Below are some of the wonders of nature that Michael discovered.
