Once we were vaccinated and ‘boosted’, we ventured aboard a plane for a trip to Colorado to spend some time with Matthew. We had a great visit! We watched Matthew rock climbing twice, worked on some projects around his house, did some off roading, and took a day trip up to Rocky Mountain National Park. We were there in early October and had flurries & light snow twice during our stay.

Although COVID severely curtailed the frequency of our family gatherings, we did get out considerably more than last year. We again ‘COVID bubbled’ with Catherine, Brian, Nolan, and Vienna [that partially explains the abundance of Nolan & Vienna pictures, since we saw them nearly every week]. We enjoyed getting all our grandkids together in late July for what we called the “cousin’s reunion”. We made several visits to Virginia, including a few days at the Massanutten Resort in Virginia. The pictures are in somewhat random order, but should give you a flavor of our interactions over the year.

As usual, there are several pictures that just don’t have a ‘category’. I’ve included pictures from our garden, our pandemic cooking, Sonia’s mask making, and of course, my usual collection of bugs, ’critters’, and random nature shots.
