Our week at the resort

This was our second visit to the Barceló Bávaro Resort in Punta Cana. We first visited in 2012. Several of the things we liked about the resort were the long stretch of beach, the variety of restaurants, and the nightly entertainment.

This trip we stayed mostly at the resort. Sonia did take a day trip to Santo Domingo for some sight seeing. I opted to relax on the beach and explore snorkeling areas. We knew ahead of time that the snorkeling was not very good, but we were still able to find some interesting shells and a few fish.

We encountered the same swimsuit fabric shortage [not that I'm complaining] that we saw back in 2012. Based on the popularity of the ‘just the cheeks’ album, I have created a companion album from this visit.

Rare for us, we disconnected for the most part and just relax for the week.

Although the pictures appear to be a random order, they roughly approximate the order in which I took them, which hopefully will better convey our day to day activities. .
